Through the US mail we will deliver books and select materials to Palisades residents who cannot leave their home due to age, illness, or physical disability.  This is a FREE program sponsored by the Library Association of Rockland County (LARC).  We will send requested material to your home in a postage paid mailing bag.  When you finish the items, mail them back in the same bag.  Postage is paid both ways by LARC.

Materials Eligible for Homebound Loan:

Items owned by the Palisades Free Library (No interloans from other libraries)

Books more than 4 months old

Books on CD more than 6 months old

Book Donations

We accept one bag or box of books at a time (approximately 20 books). If you have more than one box or bag of books you would like to donate, please call ahead and ask to speak to Maria Gagliardi.

Please do not leave boxes of books outside the building.
